Elkiem X Tracker
Leader Onboarding Guide
1Getting Started
Account Setup
You'll receive login credentials via email with instructions on how to access the system.
Verification Code
After signing in, you'll be asked to enter a verification code. This is sent to your registered email address and adds an extra layer of security to your account.
2Your Dashboard
Once you've signed in, you'll see your leader dashboard. This is your central hub for managing your own X (if you have one) and your team's X’s, tracking progress, and providing feedback.
What You See
- View My X: Your own X (you participate as a team member)
- View Teams: All team members' X’s and progress
3Your Dual Role
Leaders in Elkiem X Tracker have two distinct responsibilities:
As a Participant
- Set your own X goals
- Provide trajectory updates
- View progress relative to peers
- Submit end-of-cycle results
As a Leader
- Review team X’s
- Provide feedback
- Monitor progress
Your Goal as a Participant
You can see your own X in the "View My X" section. This is where you set your own goals and track your progress — just like your team members.
4Setting Your X (Dominant Goal)

5Team Overview
The Team Overview shows the status of every team member's X’s at a glance.
6Reviewing Team Goals
Click on any team member to view their X in detail. From here, you can review their goal and provide feedback.
You will be able to do this at any point in the cycle; they will then be notified and able to edit their X.
7Providing Feedback
When reviewing a team member's X, you can provide written feedback directly.
When to Provide Feedback
- At X Setting: Initial feedback.
At any point in the cycle if circumstances change.
- Be Clear: Use plain language
8Trajectory Updates (TPU)
Throughout the cycle, team members provide trajectory updates (TPU) showing how their progress towards their goal. As a leader, you can see these updates and monitor progress in real-time.

| On Track | On Track to achieve X |
| Below | Below trajectory |
| Well Below | Member is significantly below trajectory |
9End of Cycle Review
At the end of each cycle, team members submit their final results and provide commentary on their achievement.
Achievement Scale
At the end of the cycle, you rate each goal on this 5-point scale:
10Program Overview
When you select a goal program from your dashboard, you can select a goal cycle to view and also see the X Track Record — a complete view of your team's performance across all cycles.
This screen shows:
- Goal Cycles — Each column represents a cycle, showing the date range
- Team Members — Every member of your team
- Cycle Scores — Color-coded results for each team member per cycle (-2 to +2 scale)
The score key at the bottom explains the colour coding:
